Using Castmate
Castmate finds video on the pages you visit and lets you send it to your TV or save it. You're responsible for what you cast and save: only use it with videos you have the right to watch that way, and follow the terms of the sites you use. Castmate doesn't get around DRM, encryption, paywalls or logins, and you may not use it to try to.
Trial and free use
Every install includes 14 days of all features, with no card. After that, finding videos and casting them directly to your TV stay free. Saving videos, the queue and the relay need a paid plan. We may change what the free version includes, and we'll say so on the pricing page first.
Paid plans
- Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the listed price until you cancel. You can cancel any time on your account page; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Lifetime is one payment for as long as we offer Castmate, with no renewals.
- Refunds: email us within 14 days of a payment and we'll refund it. A refund ends that license. Local consumer law may give you further rights, which these terms don't limit.
- A license key is for your own browsers. Don't publish or resell it.
- If we change a renewal price, we'll tell you before it applies; you can cancel before then.
Payments are handled by Stripe.
No guarantee
Sites change, and some refuse to serve video to a TV. Castmate is provided "as is", and we don't promise that it will work with any particular site or device. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
